Johnson Memorial Corporation (JMC) recently welcomed Jim Fidanza as the new vice president and administrator for its 180-bed skilled nursing facility, Evergreen Health Care Center (EHCC).
Fidanza, a licensed nursing home administrator for 25 years, is a preceptor for the Certificate Program in Long-Term Healthcare Management at the University of Connecticut and an active member of the board of directors for the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities.
“Jim brings a wealth of experience to the organization,” said Peter J. Betts, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of JMC. “I am confident that his experience as a top executive for skilled nursing facilities and his professional affiliations will prove beneficial to our organization.”
According to Fidanza, EHCC’s staff and affiliation with JMC’s other entities sets it apart from other skilled nursing facilities.
“The team at Evergreen Health Care Center is vested, caring, and genuinely concerned with our residents and their families,” he continued, “it is really about neighbors taking care of neighbors.”
Fidanza received a bachelor’s degree in Allied Health/Health Sciences from Merrimack College and completed the Certificate Program in Long-Term Healthcare Management at the University of Connecticut.
